Find answers to the most common questions about the Minder platform.

For Clients

Many therapists offer a complimentary introductory session (usually 15-20 minutes) to see if you are a good match before committing financially.

Browse the Marketplace, select a therapist, and pick an available slot from their calendar. You can also send a custom session offer if you have their MinderID.

Payments are handled securely through our platform via credit/debit cards once the therapist confirms your booking.

For Professionals

Supervision credits are used to book peer or expert supervision sessions. You earn them by providing services or can purchase them if needed.

In your Professional Profile settings, you can define your weekly working hours. These will appear as bookable slots for clients.

Go to your dashboard and select "Submit Credentials". You will need to upload your educational degrees and professional certifications for our team to review.

General

Minder is a secure platform that connects individuals with verified mental health professionals for online and offline sessions.

No. Minder is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact local emergency services immediately.

Privacy & Security

Absolutely. We use end-to-end encryption for session notes. Platform administrators do not have access to your private conversations or clinical notes.

Yes. Minder supports various levels of anonymity, especially in the Community forums, ranging from using a Display Name to being completely anonymous.

Accounts & Verification

To verify your account and appear in the marketplace, please navigate to your Professional Dashboard, select 'Verification Status', and upload your degrees and credentials. Our clinical team will review them within 48 hours.

Yes! We support Guest Bookings. If a client navigates your Intake Funnel and is not logged in, they will be prompted to provide their name and email. They can request a session, and you can approve it directly from your dashboard.

Payments & Financials

Go to 'Practice Management' > 'Public Profile' > 'Booking & Practice' tab. Scroll down to the Financial Account section to add your Bank, Idram, and Telcell details. These are shown to clients when an upfront payment is required.

Refunds depend on the cancellation timing. If a session is cancelled more than 24 hours prior, a 100% refund is calculated. Between 2 and 24 hours, a 50% refund is calculated. Within 2 hours of the session, no refund is granted.

Calendar & Funnels

Navigate to 'Manage Calendar' on your dashboard. Click the 'Block Period' button on the top right. Select your Start Date and End Date. All slots during this period will be automatically rendered unavailable for booking in your timezone.

The system automatically tallies the standard PHQ-9 diagnostic values (0-3 points per question). The total severity score is then securely attached to the booking request and sent to your Professional Dashboard for review before you accept the session.
