How trust works

Know what we check. Decide what matters to you.

Choosing mental health support is personal. Here is what Minder checks before a new professional profile appears, what remains the professional’s responsibility, and how we prepare information you read here.

Before a new profile appears in search

These are the current publication requirements. Professionals can save a private draft while they complete them.

  1. Identity

A first and last name and a profile photo make the person behind the listing identifiable.

  2. Area of work

The professional chooses a primary modality, areas of support and working languages so visitors can compare relevant options.

  3. Session details

An active session fee and weekly availability make the listing useful before someone begins booking.

  4. Qualification review

A submitted university degree or professional licence/registration is reviewed by a person. The document stays private; its approval is one requirement for a new listing.

How we prepare health guides

Guides help readers understand options and prepare questions. They do not diagnose a condition or replace an individual assessment.

Sources

We cite identifiable sources for clinical or factual claims and distinguish published evidence from Minder’s own platform observations.

Authorship

An article identifies its author or publishing organization. “Minder Editorial Team” means platform-produced content, not a clinician byline.

Clinical review

A named clinical reviewer and review date appear only when that review was recorded. An article without that credit should not be treated as clinically reviewed.

Corrections

We update material when facts, product features or cited guidance change. Readers can report an error to the support address below.

A practical check before booking

  • Compare the professional’s training and experience with your question; ask what their qualification covers.
  • Check the session format, working language, duration, fee and cancellation terms.
  • Ask what a first meeting will involve and whether the professional works with your age group or concern.
  • If you need urgent help or a medical assessment, use appropriate local emergency or medical services rather than waiting for an online booking.
